Mary Mother Of Jesus pbut Part 2

50. And We gave them of Our Mercy (a good provision in plenty), and We granted them honour on the tongues (of all the nations, i.e everybody remembers them with a good praise).
51. And mention in the Book (this Qur'an) Musa (Moses). Verily! He was chosen and he was a Messenger (and) a Prophet.
52. And We called him from the right side of the Mount, and made him draw near to Us for a talk with him [Musa (Moses)].
53. And We bestowed on him his brother Harun (Aaron), (also) a Prophet, out of Our Mercy.
54. And mention in the Book (the Qur'an) Isma'il (Ishmael). Verily! He was true to what he promised, and he was a Messenger, (and) a Prophet.
55. And he used to enjoin on his family and his people As-Salat (the prayers) and the Zakat, and his Lord was pleased with him.
56. And mention in the Book (the Qur'an) Idris (Enoch).Verily! He was a man of truth, (and) a Prophet.
57. And We raised him to a high station.
58. Those were they unto whom Allah bestowed His Grace from among the Prophets, of the offspring of Adam, and of those whom We carried (in the ship) with Nuh (Noah), and of the offspring of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Israel and from among those whom We guided and chose. When the Verses of the Most Beneficent (Allah) were recited unto them, they fell down prostrating and weeping.
59. Then, there has succeeded them a posterity who have given up As-Salat (the prayers) [i.e. made their Salat (prayers) to be lost, either by not offering them or by not offering them perfectly or by not offering them in their proper fixed times, etc.] and have followed lusts. So they will be thrown in Hell.
60. Except those who repent and believe (in the Oneness of Allah and His Messenger Muhammad ), and work righteousness. Such will enter Paradise and they will not be wronged in aught.
61. (They will enter) 'Adn (Eden) Paradise (everlasting Gardens), which the Most Beneficent (Allah) has promised to His slaves in the unseen: Verily! His Promise must come to pass.
62. They shall not hear therein (in Paradise) any Laghw (dirty, false, evil vain talk), but only Salam (salutations of peace). And they will have therein their sustenance, morning and afternoon. [See (V.40:55)].
63. Such is the Paradise which We shall give as an inheritance to those of Our slaves who have been Al-Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - See V.2:2).
64. And we (angels) descend not except by the Command of your Lord (O Muhammad ). To Him belongs what is before us and what is behind us, and what is between those two, and your Lord is never forgetful,
65. Lord of the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them, so worship Him (Alone) and be constant and patient in His worship. Do you know of any who is similar to Him? (of course none is similar or coequal or comparable to Him, and He has none as partner with Him). [There is nothing like unto Him and He is the All-Hearer, the All-Seer].
66. And man (the disbeliever) says: "When I am dead, shall I then be raised up alive?"
67. Does not man remember that We created him before, while he was nothing?
68. So by your Lord, surely, We shall gather them together, and (also) the Shayatin (devils) (with them), then We shall bring them round Hell on their knees.
69. Then indeed We shall drag out from every sect all those who were worst in obstinate rebellion against the Most Beneficent (Allah).
70. Then, verily, We know best those who are most worthy of being burnt therein.
71. There is not one of you but will pass over it (Hell); this is with your Lord; a Decree which must be accomplished.
72. Then We shall save those who use to fear Allah and were dutiful to Him. And We shall leave the Zalimun (polytheists and wrongdoers, etc.) therein (humbled) to their knees (in Hell).
73. And when Our Clear Verses are recited to them, those who disbelieve (the rich and strong among the pagans of Quraish who live a life of luxury) say to those who believe (the weak, poor companions of Prophet Muhammad  who have a hard life): "Which of the two groups (i.e. believers and disbelievers) is best in (point of) position and as regards station (place of council for consultation)."
74. And how many a generation (past nations) have We destroyed before them, who were better in wealth, goods and outward appearance?
75. Say (O Muhammad ) whoever is in error, the Most Beneficent (Allah) will extend (the rope) to him, until, when they see that which they were promised, either the torment or the Hour, they will come to know who is worst in position, and who is weaker in forces. [This is the answer for the Verse No.19:73]
76. And Allah increases in guidance those who walk aright [true believers in the Oneness of Allah who fear Allah much (abstain from all kinds of sins and evil deeds which He has forbidden), and love Allah much (perform all kinds of good deeds which He has ordained)]. And the righteous good deeds that last, are better with your Lord, for reward and better for resort.
77. Have you seen him who disbelieved in Our Ayat (this Qur'an and Muhammad ) and (yet) says: "I shall certainly be given wealth and children [if I will be alive (again)],"
78. Has he known the unseen or has he taken a covenant from the Most Beneficent (Allah)?
79. Nay! We shall record what he says, and We shall increase his torment (in the Hell);
80. And We shall inherit from him (at his death) all that he talks of (i.e. wealth and children which We have bestowed upon him in this world), and he shall come to Us alone.
81. And they have taken (for worship) aliha (gods) besides Allah, that they might give them honour, power and glory (and also protect them from Allah's Punishment etc.).
82. Nay, but they (the so-called gods) will deny their worship of them, and become opponents to them (on the Day of Resurrection).
83. See you not that We have sent the Shayatin (devils) against the disbelievers to push them to do evil.
84. So make no haste against them; We only count out to them a (limited) number (of the days of the life of this world and delay their term so that they may increase in evil and sins).
85. The Day We shall gather the Muttaqun (pious - see V.2:2) unto the Most Beneficent (Allah), like a delegate (presented before a king for honour).
86. And We shall drive the Mujrimun (polytheists, sinners, criminals, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah, etc.) to Hell, in a thirsty state (like a thirsty herd driven down to water),
87. None shall have the power of intercession, but such a one as has received permission (or promise) from the Most Beneficent (Allah).
88. And they say: "The Most Beneficent (Allah) has begotten a son (or offspring or children) [as the Jews say: 'Uzair (Ezra) is the son of Allah, and the Christians say that He has begotten a son ['Iesa (Christ)], and the pagan Arabs say that He has begotten daughters (angels, etc.)]."
89. Indeed you have brought forth (said) a terrible evil thing.
90. Whereby the heavens are almost torn, and the earth is split asunder, and the mountains fall in ruins,
91. That they ascribe a son (or offspring or children) to the Most Beneficent (Allah).
92. But it is not suitable for (the Majesty of) the Most Beneficent (Allah) that He should beget a son (or offspring or children).
93. There is none in the heavens and the earth but comes unto the Most Beneficent (Allah) as a slave.
94. Verily, He knows each one of them, and has counted them a full counting.
95. And everyone of them will come to Him alone on the Day of Resurrection (without any helper, or protector or defender).
96. Verily, those who believe [in the Oneness of Allah and in His Messenger (Muhammad )] and work deeds of righteousness, the Most Beneficent (Allah) will bestow love for them (in the hearts of the believers).
97. So We have made this (the Qur'an) easy in your own tongue (O Muhammad ), only that you may give glad tidings to the Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - See V.2:2), and warn with it the Ludda (most quarrelsome) people.
98. And how many a generation before them have We destroyed! Can you (O Muhammad ) find a single one of them or hear even a whisper of them?

Mary Mother Of Jesus PBUT Part 1

1. Kaf- Ha-Ya-'Ain-Sad.
[These letters are one of the miracles of the Qur'an, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings].
2. (This is) a mention of the mercy of your Lord to His slave Zakariya (Zachariah).
3. When he called out his Lord (Allah) a call in secret,
4. Saying: "My Lord! Indeed my bones have grown feeble, and grey hair has spread on my head, And I have never been unblest in my invocation to You, O my Lord!
5. "And Verily! I fear my relatives after me, since my wife is barren. So give me from Yourself an heir,
6. "Who shall inherit me, and inherit (also) the posterity of Ya'qub (Jacob) (inheritance of the religious knowledge and Prophethood, not the wealth, etc.). And make him, my Lord, one with whom You are Well-pleased!".
7. (Allah said) "O Zakariya (Zachariah)! Verily, We give you the glad tidings of a son, His name will be Yahya (John). We have given that name to none before (him)."
8. He said: "My Lord! How can I have a son, when my wife is barren, and I have reached the extreme old age."
9. He said: "So (it will be). Your Lord says; It is easy for Me. Certainly I have created you before, when you had been nothing!"
10. [Zakariya (Zachariah)] said: "My Lord! Appoint for me a sign." He said: "Your sign is that you shall not speak unto mankind for three nights, though having no bodily defect."
11. Then he came out to his people from Al-Mihrab (a praying place or a private room, etc.), he told them by signs to glorify Allah's Praises in the morning and in the afternoon.
12. (It was said to his son): "O Yahya (John)! Hold fast the Scripture [the Taurat (Torah)]." And We gave him wisdom while yet a child.
13. And (made him) sympathetic to men as a mercy (or a grant) from Us, and pure from sins [i.e. Yahya (John)] and he was righteous,
14. And dutiful towards his parents, and he was neither an arrogant nor disobedient (to Allah or to his parents).
15. And Salamun (peace) be on him the day he was born, the day he dies, and the day he will be raised up to life (again)!
16. And mention in the Book (the Qur'an, O Muhammad  , the story of) Maryam (Mary), when she withdrew in seclusion from her family to a place facing east.
17. She placed a screen (to screen herself) from them; then We sent to her Our Ruh [angel Jibrael (Gabriel)], and he appeared before her in the form of a man in all respects.
18. She said: "Verily! I seek refuge with the Most Beneficent (Allah) from you, if you do fear Allah."
19. (The angel) said: "I am only a Messenger from your Lord, (to announce) to you the gift of a righteous son."
20. She said: "How can I have a son, when no man has touched me, nor am I unchaste?"
21. He said: "So (it will be), your Lord said: 'That is easy for Me (Allah): And (We wish) to appoint him as a sign to mankind and a mercy from Us (Allah), and it is a matter (already) decreed, (by Allah).' "
22. So she conceived him, and she withdrew with him to a far place (i.e. Bethlehem valley about 4-6 miles from Jerusalem).
23. And the pains of childbirth drove her to the trunk of a date-palm. She said: "Would that I had died before this, and had been forgotten and out of sight!"
24. Then [the babe 'Iesa (Jesus) or Jibrael (Gabriel)] cried unto her from below her, saying: "Grieve not! Your Lord has provided a water stream under you;
25. "And shake the trunk of date-palm towards you, it will let fall fresh ripe-dates upon you."
26. "So eat and drink and be glad, and if you see any human being, say: 'Verily! I have vowed a fast unto the Most Beneficent (Allah) so I shall not speak to any human being this day.'"
27. Then she brought him (the baby) to her people, carrying him. They said: "O Mary! Indeed you have brought a thing Fariya (an unheard mighty thing).
28. "O sister (i.e. the like) of Harun (Aaron) [not the brother of Musa (Moses), but he was another pious man at the time of Maryam (Mary)]! Your father was not a man who used to commit adultery, nor your mother was an unchaste woman."
29. Then she pointed to him. They said: "How can we talk to one who is a child in the cradle?"
30. "He ['Iesa (Jesus)] said: Verily! I am a slave of Allah, He has given me the Scripture and made me a Prophet;"
31. "And He has made me blessed wheresoever I be, and has enjoined on me Salat (prayer), and Zakat, as long as I live."
32. "And dutiful to my mother, and made me not arrogant, unblest.
33. "And Salam (peace) be upon me the day I was born, and the day I die, and the day I shall be raised alive!"
34. Such is 'Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary). (it is) a statement of truth, about which they doubt (or dispute).
35. It befits not (the Majesty of) Allah that He should beget a son [this refers to the slander of Christians against Allah, by saying that 'Iesa (Jesus) is the son of Allah]. Glorified (and Exalted be He above all that they associate with Him). When He decrees a thing, He only says to it, "Be!" and it is.
36. ['Iesa (Jesus) said]: "And verily Allah is my Lord and your Lord. So worship Him (Alone). That is the Straight Path. (Allah's Religion of Islamic Monotheism which He did ordain for all of His Prophets)." [Tafsir At-Tabari]
37. Then the sects differed [i.e. the Christians about 'Iesa (Jesus)], so woe unto the disbelievers [those who gave false witness by saying that 'Iesa (Jesus) is the son of Allah] from the meeting of a great Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection, when they will be thrown in the blazing Fire).
38. How clearly will they (polytheists and disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah) see and hear, the Day when they will appear before Us! But the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers) today are in plain error.
39. And warn them (O Muhammad ) of the Day of grief and regrets, when the case has been decided, while (now) they are in a state of carelessness, and they believe not.
40. Verily! We will inherit the earth and whatsoever is thereon. And to Us they all shall be returned,
41. And mention in the Book (the Qur'an) Ibrahim (Abraham). Verily! He was a man of truth, a Prophet.
42. When he said to his father: "O my father! Why do you worship that which hears not, sees not and cannot avail you in anything?
43. "O my father! Verily! There has come to me of knowledge that which came not unto you. So follow me. I will guide you to a Straight Path.
44. "O my father! Worship not Shaitan (Satan). Verily! Shaitan (Satan) has been a rebel against the Most Beneficent (Allah).
45. "O my father! Verily! I fear lest a torment from the Most Beneficent (Allah) overtake you, so that you become a companion of Shaitan (Satan) (in the Hell-fire)." [Tafsir Al-Qurtubi]
46. He (the father) said: "Do you reject my gods, O Ibrahim (Abraham)? If you stop not (this), I will indeed stone you. So get away from me safely before I punish you."
47. Ibrahim (Abraham) said: "Peace be on you! I will ask Forgiveness of my Lord for you. Verily! He is unto me, Ever Most Gracious.
48. "And I shall turn away from you and from those whom you invoke besides Allah. And I shall call on my Lord; and I hope that I shall not be unblest in my invocation to my Lord."
49. So when he had turned away from them and from those whom they worshipped besides Allah, We gave him Ishaque (Isaac) and Ya'qub (Jacob), and each one of them We made a Prophet.

Story of Pharaoh Ramses II (Firaun Mummy) Part 1

UA miracle, by definition, is a
supernatural event beyond the laws
of science; it is fulfilled only by
Allah's will and power. It has
significance and can be confirmed
only by those who directly witnessed
the event in time.

When Francisco Mitra became the
president of France in 1981, France
requested from the Egyptian
government to host the mummy of
Pharaoh. For the purpose of running
laboratory and archeological
examinations on the mummy of the
most notorious dictator ever lived on
earth. Upon arrival, very royal
attendants were there including the
French president himself and all
ministers who bowed in honor for
the Firaun Mummy.
When the ceremony ended, the
mummy was carried to a specially-
designed section at the Archeology
Centre of France. Were it started to
be tested by the greatest French
archeological and anatomical
scientists in order to discover more
about such a great Firaun Mummy.
The scientists were headed by
Professor Maurice Bucaille. The
scientists were trying to restore the
mummy while Professor Maurice
Bucaille was mainly concerned with
how did this mummy died? The final
report of the scientists was released
late at night which states that the
remaining salt in the mummy is an
overt evidence that it was drawn in
the sea, and the body was rescued
very shortly where it was
immediately embalmed to be saved.
An amazing thing was still confusing
Professor Maurice Bucaille is that
how could this body possibly be
safer than any other mummy despite
being taken out of the sea up until
this time. Professor Maurice Bucaille
was writing his final report on what
he thought would be a new discovery
about saving Pharaoh's body
immediately after his death and
embalming it.
Note: The picture shown above is
the dead body of Ramses II, the
Egyptian King in the era of Prophet
Moses (pbuh) . Its age is
approximately 3000 years old and it
was found by the Red Sea, at the
place called Jabalain, and is now on
display in the Royal Mummies
Chamber of the Egyptian Museum in
Cairo.
And there, someone whispered to
him that Muslims claim to know
something about the drowning of
this mummy. Yet Professor Maurice
Bucaille firmly denied such thing
saying that it's impossible to
discover this without the
development of science and without
using his high-tech and complicated
laboratories and computers.
To his surprise, he was told that
Muslims believe in a book called
"Holy Quran " and this Holy Quran
narrates the story of Pharaoh's
drowning and ensures the safety of
his body after his death as to be a
Sign to mankind.

Story of Pharaoh Ramses II (Firaun Mummy) Part 2

Professor Maurice Bucaille couldn't
believe his own ears and started to
wonder: How can a book existed
1400 years ago speak about the
mummy that was only found 111
years ago, in 1898? How can that be
possible while the ancient Egyptian
heritage was discovered only a few
decades ago and no one knew about
it before?
Professor Maurice Bucaille sat down
pondering on what he was told
about the book of Muslims, Holy
Quran while his Holy Book (The
Bible) narrates only the drowning of
Pharaoh without saying anything
about his body.
"Is it possible that this mummy in
front of me is the one who was
chasing Prophet Moses?" "Is it
possible that Prophet Muhammad
knew this 1400 years ago?"
Professor Maurice Bucaille couldn't
sleep that night till they brought
him the Old Testament where he
read: "And the waters returned, and
covered the chariots, and the
horsemen, and all the host of
Pharaoh that came into the sea after
them; there remained not so much
as one of them. (Exodus 14:28) But
overthrew Pharaoh and his host in
the Red sea: for his mercy endureth
for ever. (Psalm 136:15) For the
horse of Pharaoh went in with his
chariots and with his horsemen into
the sea, and the LORD brought
again the waters of the sea upon
them; but the Children of Israel
went on dry land in the midst of the
sea. (Exodus 15:19)"
Professor Maurice Bucaille was
surprised that the Holy Book ( The
Bible ) didn't mention about the
destiny of the body and that it will
be saved.
When the scientists were done with
the mummy, France retuned it to
Egypt, but Professor Maurice Bucaille
couldn't rest for a moment since he
was told that Muslims know about
the safety of the body from Holy
Quran. So, he decided to travel and
meet anatomy Muslim scientists and
there he spoke about his discovery of
the safety of the mummy after its
death in the sea and so on.
One of the Muslim scientists stood
up and simply opened Holy Quran
and pointed to the Professor at one
verse: "We brought the Children of
Israel across the sea and Pharaoh
and his troops pursued them out of
tyranny and enmity. Then, when he
was on the point of drowning, he
(Pharaoh) said, I believe that there
is no god but Him in whom the
Children of Israel believe. I am of
those who submit (to Allah in Islam).
What! Now! And indeed you
disobeyed before and you were of
the mischief-makers. This day shall
We save you in your body, that you
may be a Sign to those who come
after you! But verily, many among
mankind are neglectful of Our
Signs." (Holy Quran 10:90-92)
Professor Maurice Bucaille was struck
when he read that and immediately
stood in front of the crowd and said
loudly: "I believe in Islam, I believe
in Holy Quran."
Then he went back to France with a
different face he traveled with. In
France, he dedicated 10 years
investigating the scientific
discoveries and comparing them with
Holy Quran and trying to come up
with one scientific contradiction with
Holy Quran. Finally he quoted one
verse from Holy Quran to be his
conclusion:
"No falsehood can approach it (this
book) from before or behind it: it is
sent down by One Full of Wisdom,
Worthy of all praise." (Holy Quran
41:42)
As a result of all years of his
research, Professor Maurice Bucaille
wrote a book that shook all Europe,
especially the scientists there "The
Bible, the Quran and Science: The
Holy Scriptures Examined in the
light of Modern Knowledge."

Things Do Not Break Fasting 3

Part 3

If a person unintentionally swallows
something that is stuck between his
teeth, or if it is so small that he
could not tell it was there or spit it
out, this is counted as being part of
his saliva and it does not break his
fast. But if it is big enough to spit
out, he should spit it out. If he
spits it out, this is OK, but if he
swallows it, this breaks his fast. If it
can be diluted in the mouth, in
whole or in part, and it has an
added taste or sweetness, it is
haraam for him to chew it. If any of
this substance reaches the throat,
this breaks the fast. If a person
spits out water after rinsing his
mouth, his fast is not affected by
any moisture or wetness that is left
behind, because he cannot help it.
If a person suffers from a nosebleed,
his fast is still valid, because this is
something that is beyond his
control. (Fataawa al-Lajnah al-Daaâ
€™imah, 10/264).
If he has gum ulcers or his gums
bleed after using the siwaak (tooth
stick), it is not permissible for him
to swallow the blood; he has to spit
it out. However, if some blood enters
his throat by accident, and he did
not mean for that to happen, there
is no need to worry. Similarly, if
vomit rises in his throat then goes
back down to his stomach without
him intending for this to happen, his
fast is still valid. (Fataawa al-Lajnah
al-Daa’imah, 10/254).
With regard to mucus coming from
the head (nose and sinuses) and
phlegm coming from the chest by
coughing and clearing the throat, if
it is swallowed before it reaches the
mouth, this does not break a
person’s fast, because it is a
problem which all people have; but
if it is swallowed after it reaches the
mouth, this does break the fast.
However, if it is swallowed
unintentionally, it does not break
the fast.
Inhaling water vapours, as may
happen to people working in
desalination plants, does not break
the fast. (Fataawa al-Lajnah al-Daaâ
€™imah, 10/276).
It is disliked (makrooh) to taste food
unnecessarily, because this carries
the risk that the fast may be broken.
Examples of cases where it is
necessary to taste food include a
mother chewing food for an infant
when she has no other way to feed
him, tasting food to make sure that
it is OK, and tasting something
when making a purchase. It was
reported that Ibn †ﮎ Abbaas said:
"There is nothing wrong with tasting
vinegar or anything that one wishes
to buy." (Classed as hasan in Irwaâ
€™ al-Ghaleel, 4/86; See al-Fath,
commentary on Baab Ightisaal al-
Saa’im, Kitaab al-Siyaam).
Using siwaak is Sunnah for the one
who is fasting at all times of the
day, even if it is wet. If a person
who is fasting uses a siwaak and
detects some heat or other taste
from it and swallows it, or if he
takes the siwaak out of his mouth
and sees saliva on it then puts it
back in his mouth and swallows the
saliva, this does not break his fast.
(al-Fataawa al-Sa’diyyah, 245).
He should avoid any substance that
can be diluted, such as the green
siwaak, or siwaak that has any extra
flavour added to it, like lemon or
mint. He should spit out any small
pieces that come off the siwaak in
his mouth; he should not swallow
them deliberately, but if he swallows
them accidentally, there is no harm
done.
If a fasting person is injured or
suffers a nosebleed, or gets water or
petrol in his mouth by accident, this
does not break his fast. If he gets
dust, smoke or flies in his mouth by
accident, this does not break his fast
either. Things that one cannot avoid
swallowing, like one’s own saliva,
or dust from grinding flour, do not
break the fast. If a person gathers a
lot of saliva in his mouth then
swallows it on purpose, this does
not break the fast, according to the
most correct opinion. (al-Mughni by
Ibn Qudaamah, 3/106).
If tears reach one’s throat, or if a
person applies oil to his hair or
moustache, or uses henna, and then
detects the taste of it in his throat,
this does not break his fast. Using
henna, kohl or oil does not break the
fast. (See Majmoo’ al-Fataawa,
25/233, 25/245).
This also applies to creams used to
moisturize and soften the skin.
There is nothing wrong with smelling
pleasant fragrances, using perfume
or applying scented creams and the
like. There is nothing wrong with a
fasting person using bukhoor
(incense), so long as he does not use
it as snuff. (Fataawa al-Lajnah al-
Daa’imah, 10/314).
It is better not to use toothpaste
during the day, and to leave it till
night-time, because it is too strong.
(Al-Majaalis, Ibn †ﮎ Uthaymeen, p.
72).
To be on the safe side, it is better
for the fasting person not to be
treated with cupping (hijaamah).
There is a strong difference of
opinion on this matter. Ibn
Taymiyah suggested that the one
who has cupping done breaks his
fast, but the one who does it does
not break his fast.
Smoking breaks the fast, and it
cannot be used as an excuse not to
fast. How can a sin be taken as an
excuse?!
Immersing oneself in water or
wrapping oneself in wet clothes in
order to cool down does not break
the fast. There is nothing wrong with
pouring water over one’s head to
obtain relief from heat and thirst.
Swimming is disliked, because it
might make one break the fast (by
swallowing water). If a person’s
work involves diving and he can be
sure that he will not get water in his
mouth, there is nothing wrong with
this.
If a person eats, drinks or has
intercourse, thinking that it is still
night, then he realizes that dawn
has already broken, there is no harm
done, because the aayah clearly
states that it is permissible to do
these things until one is sure that
dawn has come. †ﮎ Abd al-Razzaaq
reported with a saheeh isnaad going
back to Ibn †ﮎ Abbaas (may Allaah
be pleased with him) that he said:
"Allaah has permitted you to eat
and drink so long as there is any
doubt in your mind." (Fath al-Baari,
4/135; this is also the opinion of
Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah,
Majmoo’ al-Fataawa, 29/263).
If a person breaks his fast, thinking
that the sun has already set when it
has not, he must make up the fast
later on (according to the majority of
scholars), because the principle is
that it is still day, and a fact that is
certain cannot be rejected in favour
of something doubtful. (Shaykh al-
Islam Ibn Taymiyah thought that it
was not necessary for a person in
this situation to make up the fast).
If dawn breaks and a person has
food or drink in his mouth, the
fuqaha’ are agreed that he
should spit it out, and his fast is
valid. This is like the ruling on one
who eats or drinks because he
forgets, then remembers he is
fasting – if he hastens to spit out
the food or drink in his mouth, his
fast is still valid.

Things Do Not Break Fasting 2

Part 2

The following things do NOT break
the fast:
* Having the ears syringed; nose
drops and nasal sprays – so long
as one avoids swallowing anything
that reaches the throat.
* Tablets that are placed under the
tongue to treat angina and other
conditions - so long as one avoids
swallowing anything that reaches
the throat.
* Anything inserted into the vagina,
such as pessaries, douches, scopes
or fingers for the purpose of a
medical examination.
* Insertion of a scope or intra-
uterine device (IUD or "coil") and
the like into the uterus.
* Insertion into the urethra – for
males or females – of a catheter,
opaque dye for diagnostic imaging,
medication or solutions for cleansing
the bladder.
* Dental fillings, tooth extractions,
cleaning of the teeth, use of siwaak
or toothbrush - so long as one avoids
swallowing anything that reaches
the throat.
* Rinsing, gargling or applying
topical mouth sprays - so long as
one avoids swallowing anything that
reaches the throat.
* Subcutaneous, intramuscular or
intravenous injections – except for
those used to provide nourishment.
* Oxygen.
* Anaesthetic gases – so long as
the patient is not given nourishing
solutions.
* Medications absorbed through the
skin, such as creams and patches
used to administer medicine and
chemicals.
* Insertion of a catheter into veins
for diagnostic imaging or treatment
of blood vessels in the heart or
other organs.
* Use of a laparoscope (instrument
inserted through a small incision in
the abdomen) to examine the
abdominal cavity or to perform
operations.
* Taking biopsies or samples from
the liver or other organs – so long
as this is not accompanied by the
administration of solutions.
* Gastroscopy – so long as this is
not accompanied by the
administration of solutions or other
substances.
* Introduction of any instrument or
medication to the brain or spinal
column.

Anyone who eats and drinks
deliberately during the day in
Ramadaan with no valid excuse has
committed a grave major sin
(kabeerah), and has to repent and
make up for that fast later on. If he
broke the fast with something
haraam, such as drinking alcohol,
this makes his sin even worse.
Whatever the case, he has to repent
sincerely and do more naafil deeds,
fasting and other acts of worship, so
as to avoid having any shortfall in
his record of obligatory deeds, and
so that Allaah might accept his
repentance.
"If he forgets, and eats and drinks,
then let him complete his fast, for
Allaah has fed him and given him
to drink."
(Reported by al-Bukhaari,Fath, no. 1933).

According to another report, "He does not have to make
the fast up later or offer expiation
(kafaarah)."
If a person sees someone else who
is eating because he has forgotten
that he is fasting, he should remind
him, because of the general meaning
of the aayah (interpretation of the
meaning): "… Help one another in
righteousness and piety…" [al-
Maa’idah 5:2], and the hadeeth,
"if I forget, remind me"; and
because of the principle that this is
an evil action (munkar) that must be
changed. (Majlis Shahr Ramadaan,
Ibn †ﮎ Uthaymeen, p.70)

Those who need to break their fast
in order to save someone whose life
is in danger, may break their fast
and should make it up later on. This
applies in cases where someone is
drowning, or when fires need to be
put out.
If a person is obliged to fast, but he
deliberately has intercourse during
the day in Ramadaan, of his own
free will, where the two "circumcised
parts" (genitals) come together and
the tip of the penis penetrates
either the front or back passage, his
fast is broken, whether or not he
ejaculates, and he has to repent. He
should still fast for the rest of the
day, but he has to make up the fast
later on, and offer expiation
(kafaarah), because of the hadeeth
narrated by Abu Hurayrah (may
Allaah be pleased with him): "Whilst
we were sitting with the Messenger
of Allaah (peace and blessings of
Allaah be upon him), a man came
to him and said: †ﮎ O Messenger
of Allaah, am doomed!’ He said,
†ﮎ What is the matter with you?â
€™ He said, †ﮎ I had intercourse
with my wife whilst I was fasting.â
€™ The Messenger of Allaah said, â
€ ﮎ Do you have a slave whom you
could set free?’ He said, â
€ ﮎ No.’ He said, †ﮎ Can you
fast for two consecutive months?â
€™ He said, †ﮎ No.’ He said, â
€ ﮎ Do you have the wherewithal to
feed sixty poor people?’ He
said, †ﮎ No’…" (Reported by
al-Bukhaari, al-Fath, 4, no. 1936).

The same ruling also applies in
cases of zinaa (adultery or
fornication), homosexuality and
bestiality.
If a person has intercourse during
the day on more than one day
during Ramadaan, he must offer
expiation for each day, as well as
repeating the fast for each day. Not
knowing that kafaarah is obligatory
is no excuse. (Fataawa al-Lajnah al-
Daa’imah, 10/321).
If a man wants to have intercourse
with his wife but he breaks his fast
by eating first, his sin is more
serious, because he has violated the
sanctity of the month on two counts,
by eating and by having intercourse.
It is even more certain in this case
that expiation is obligatory, and if
he tries to get out of it, that only
makes matters worse. He must
repent sincerely. (See Majmoo’
al-Fataawa, 25/262).
Kissing, hugging, embracing,
touching and repeatedly looking at
one’s wife or concubine, if a man
is able to control himself, is
permissible, because it is reported
in al-Saheehayn from †ﮎ Aaâ
€™ishah (may Allaah be pleased with
her) that the Prophet (peace and
blessings of Allaah be upon him)
used to kiss and embrace his wives
whilst he was fasting, but he was
the most in control of his desire.
With regard to the hadeeth qudsi,
"he keeps away from his wife for
My sake" , this is referring to
intercourse. But if a person get
aroused quickly and is unable to
control himself, then it is not
permissible for him to kiss or
embrace his wife, because that will
lead to him breaking his fast, as he
cannot be sure that he will be able
to avoid ejaculating or having
intercourse. Allaah says in a hadeeth
qudsi: "and he leaves his desire for
My sake." The Islamic guideline is
that anything that leads to haraam
is also haraam.
If a person is engaged in the act of
intercourse and dawn comes, he is
obliged to withdraw, and his fast will
be valid even if he ejaculates after
withdrawal, but if he continues
having intercourse until after dawn,
he has broken his fast, and he must
repent, make the fast up later, and
offer expiation.
If morning comes and a person is in
a state of janaabah (impurity
following sexual intercourse), this
does not affect his fasting. He or she
is permitted to delay doing ghusl,
whether it is for janaabah or
following menstruation or post-natal
bleeding, until after the sun has
come up, but it is better to hasten
to do ghusl so that one can pray.
If a person who is fasting sleeps and
experiences a wet dream, this does
not break his fast, according to
scholarly consensus (ijmaa’), so
he should complete his fast.
Delaying doing ghusl does not break
the fast, but he should hasten to do
ghusl so that he can pray and so
that the anegls will draw close to
him.
If a person ejaculates during the
day in Ramadaan because of
something that he could have
refrained from, such as touching or
repeatedly looking at a woman, he
must repent to Allaah and fast for
the rest of the day, but he also has
to make up that fast later on. If a
person starts to masturbate but
then stops, and does not ejaculate,
then he has to repent but he does
not have to make the fast up later
on, because he did not ejaculate.
The person who is fasting must keep
away from everything that may
provoke his desire, and he must
repel any bad thoughts that come to
him. However, according to the most
correct opinion, if he emits prostatic
fluid (madhiy), this does not break
his fast.
The emission of wadiy, a thick sticky
substance that comes out after
urination, with no sense of physical
pleasure, does not break the fast,
and a person does not have to do
ghusl, but he does have to do
istinjaa’ (clean his private parts)
and do wudoo’. (Fataawa al-
Lajnah al-Daa’imah, 10/279)
"Whoever vomits unintentionally
does not have to make up the fast
later on, but whoever vomits on
purpose does have to make up the
fast." (Saheeh hadeeth narrated by
al-Tirmidhi, 3/89). A person who
vomits deliberately, by sticking his
finger down his throat or applying
pressure to his stomach, or
deliberately smelling a repulsive
odour, or looking at something that
could make him vomit, is obliged to
make up the fast later on. If he feels
that he is about to vomit, but then
it subsides by itself, this does not
break his fast, because it is not
something that he can control, but
if the vomit comes into his mouth
and he swallows it back down, this
does break the fast. If a person feels
sick in his stomach, he does not
have to suppress the urge to vomit,
because this could cause him harm.
(Majaalis Sharh Ramadaan, Ibn â
€ ﮎ Uthaymeen, 67).

Things Do Not Break Fasting

Part 1

Apart from hayd (menstruation) and
nifaas (post-natal bleeding), other
things that can break the fast are
only considered to do so if the
following three conditions apply: if a
person knows that it breaks the fast
and is not ignorant; if he is aware of
what he is doing and has not
forgotten that he is fasting; if he
does it of his own free will and is
not forced to do it.

Among the things that break the fast
are actions that involves the
expulsion of bodily fluids, such as
intercourse, vomiting, menstruation
and cupping, and actions that
involve ingesting matter, such as
eating and drinking.
(Majmoo’ al-Fataawa, 25/148)

Among the things that break the fast
are things that are classified as
being like eating or drinking, such as
taking medicines and pills by mouth,
or injections of nourishing
substances, or blood transfusions.
Injections that are not given to
replace food and drink but are used
to administer medications such as
penicillin and insulin, or tonics, or
vaccinations, do not break the fast,
regardless of whether they are intra-
muscular or intravenous.
(FataawaIbn Ibraaheem, 4/189).

But to be on the safe side, all these injections
should be given during the night.
Kidney dialysis, whereby the blood is
taken out, cleaned, and put back
with some chemicals or nourishing
substances such as sugars and salts
added, is considered to break the
fast.
(Fataawa al-Lajnah al-Daaâ
€™imah, 10/190).

According to the most correct view,
suppositories, eye-drops, ear-drops,
having a tooth extracted and
treating wounds do not break the
fast.
(Majmoo’ Fataawa Shaykh al-
Islam, 25/233, 25/245).

Puffers used for asthma do not break
the fast, because this is just
compressed gas that goes to the
lungs – it is not food, and it is
needed at all times, in Ramadaan
and at other times.
Having a blood sample taken does
not break the fast and is permissible
because it is something that is
needed.
(Fataawa al-Da’wah: Ibn
Baaz, no. 979).

Medicines used by gargling do not
break the fast so long as they are
not swallowed. If a person has a
tooth filled and feels the taste of it
in his throat, this does not break his
fast.
(From the fataawa of Shaykh â
€ ﮎ Abd al-†ﮎ Azeez ibn Baaz, issued
verbally).

Why The Quran Is In Arabic

As the Quran was revealed in Arabia, it needed to be in Arabic so people would understand it, for a source of knowledge and guidance. Arabic is a beautiful and gentile language. The Arabic language is also easy to learn.

‘Lo! We have revealed it, a Lecture in Arabic, that ye may understand.’ Quran: 12:2

‘And We make this Scripture easy in thy tongue, (O Muhammad) only that thou mayst bear good tidings therewith unto those who ward off evil, and warn therewith the froward folk.’ Quran: 19:97

‘And verily We have coined for mankind in this Quran all kinds of similitude’s, that haply they may reflect; A Lecture in Arabic, containing no crookedness, that haply they may ward off evil.’ Quran: 39:27-28

‘Lo! We have appointed it a Lecture, in Arabic that haply ye may understand. And Lo! in the Source of Decrees, which We possess, it is indeed sublime, decisive.’ Quran: 43:3-4

‘When before it there was the Scripture of Moses, an example and a mercy; and this is a confirming Scripture in the Arabic language, that it may warn those who do wrong and bring good tidings for the righteous.’ Quran: 46:12

Clearly, the Arabians of the time, steeped in idolatry and forbidden practices, in the age of what is known as ‘Jahilia’ (ignorance), would have needed a Scripture in Arabic, pure in form, so they would be able to understand what was within.

‘And if We had appointed it a Koran in a foreign tongue they would assuredly have said: If only its verses were expounded so that we might understand? What! A foreign tongue and an Arab?’ Quran: 41:44

Arabic is the language that many, when they hear it, cry over its beauty.

The Arabic Quran is still here today and unchanged. Even if one cannot understand the language, by no means does it stop anyone from reading a translation to understand the Message of the Quran.

‘(Here is) a Book which We have sent down unto thee, full of blessings, that they may meditate on its Signs, and that men of understanding may receive admonition.’ Quran: 38:29

The Quran is not just a Message for the Arab people, but for Mankind as the Quran states:

‘Say [O Muhammad]: “Allah is Witness between me and you: this Qur’an hath been revealed to me by inspiration That I may warn you and all whom it reaches.” Quran: 6:19

‘And the Unbelievers would almost trip thee up with their eyes when they hear the Message; and they say: “Surely he [Muhammad] is possessed!” But it is nothing less than a Message to all the worlds.’ Quran: 68:51-52

What Is The Quran?

The word ‘Quran’ means ‘Recitation’, and the first verse of the Quran to be revealed by the Angel Gabriel to Muhammad (PBUH) was a command to ‘Read’ (or recite)! In the name of your Lord…’

The Quran

This directive marked the beginning of a new age in human communication, learning, and development. Whereas earlier Scriptures had been written and passed down by elite circles of priests and scribes – usually long after the death of the religion’s founder – the preservation of the Quran was a community effort from the beginning, and it was completed during the Muhammad’s (PBUH) own lifetime. This is in contrast to the Bible.

The Prophet’s early followers eagerly memorized and recorded each new revelation as it was revealed; by the time he passed away, thousands had memorized the entire Quran by heart. Within two years after the Prophet’s death, the first caliph Abu Bakr requested the Prophet’s secretary Zayd to collect all existing copies and fragments of the Quran in one place, in order to compile a standard edition. This manuscript became the basis for the authorized editions that were distributed to each Muslim province during the rule of the third caliph named Uthman.

Like all books, the Quran is a means to convey a message – in this case, a very special Message from the Creator to all humanity. Whoever wonders about the purpose of life and their own existence will find it to be a guide of pure excellence. Building on prior revelations, this Final Testament confirms the age-old truths of previous Scriptures, but clarifies points of faith where error or confusion have crept into them over the centuries, such as the concept of God. Those who have read the Bible will find much that is familiar: descriptions of God’s handiwork; stories of the Prophets, Satan, the angels and the Day of Judgement; moral and ethical guidelines; and spiritual practices like prayer and fasting.

The Quran is timeless and its uniqueness will never distinguish

Why We Should Learn And Understand The Quran

Quran

The Quran is the Holy Scripture of the Muslims, and is a unique and special document in countless aspects. The following article gives various points that emphasize the important of learning and understanding the Quran and why we should do so.

The Quran is unique

The biggest of its honour is that it contains nothing other than the pure words of God, therefore, it is highly unique and distinguishing. So much so that Allah Almighty challenged humanity to come up with even a single chapter like the ones in the Quran.

‘And if ye are in doubt as to what We have revealed from time to time to Our servant, then produce a Surah like thereunto; and call your witnesses or helpers (if there are any) besides Allah, if your (doubts) are true.’ Quran: 2:23

A challenge posed some 1400 years ago still remains unanswered, because none other than Allah Almighty can come up with such unique words. No copy can ever match the success of the Quran we have today.

The Quran is incorruptible

Another reason why everyone should read the Quran is the fact that this is the only Scripture that remains unchanged and incorruptible, right from the day it was revealed, and will remain so till Allah Almighty wishes it to be till the end of times, as its sanctity is preserved by no one else but Allah, as evident by the following verses:

‘We have, without doubt sent down the Message; and We will assuredly guard it (from corruption).’ Quran: 15:9

“The Word changes not with Me and I do not the least injustice to My Servants.” Quran: 50:29

The Quran is indisputable

Another aspect unique to Quranis its indisputable stature. God Himself declares that there should be no dispute whatsoever about the Quran, as these are His pure Words which are beyond comprehension. No one has ever been able to find any kind of dispute and proof of contradiction in the Quran, nor shall one be able to do so because it is a Revelation that belongs to Allah Almighty who is the purest of pure.

‘Do they not ponder on the Qur’an (with care)? Had it been from other than Allah, they would surely have found therein much discrepancy.’ Quran: 4:82

The Quran is Absolute Guidance

God is the most benevolent, merciful, and kind, and has never left His creation (human beings) unattended, ever since He created them. God does not leave His beloved creation alone and stranded. He created human beings for a purpose and always kept reminding and guiding them. This went on till God chose Islam as His final religion and Quran as His final guidance. Consider the following verses from Quran:

‘This day have I perfected your religion for you, completed my favour upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion.’ Quran: 5:3

‘By Command, from Our presence. For We (ever) send (Revelations) As a Mercy from thy Lord: for He hears and knows (all things); The Lord of the heavens and the earth and all between them if ye (but) have an assured faith. There is no god but He: it is He Who gives life and gives death the Lord and Cherisher to you and your earliest ancestors.’ Quran: 44: 5-8

‘And We sent down the Book to thee for the express purpose that thou shouldst make clear to them those things in which they differ, and that it should be a guide and a mercy to those who believe.’ Quran: 16:64

These are just a few of the proofs that tell us how exalted the Quran amongst all Scriptures is. Therefore, as the ones who want to enjoy countless blessings of Allah Almighty, we should prioritize learning and understanding the Quran. In the present day, we can also be seeking to learn the Quran online, which shall prove to be a means of great convenience to us.

We also advise non-Muslims to learn and understand the Quran.

No Racism In Islam

Racism is one of the worst forms of discrimination in our world today, and should not condoned. Sadly, it is still very common and continues to be a problem.

In Islam, racism is not allowed.

Everyone is equal in the sight of Allah (Swt) and the Quran signifies this.

The Quran states:

“O mankind, We have created you all from a single (pair of a) male and female and made you nations and tribes so that you get to know one another; verily, the noblest of you in the sight of God is the one who is most mindful of Him. God is All-Knowing, All-Aware.” Quran: 49:13

This passage shows us that everyone, regardless of skin color, ethnicity and creed are equal. We are all judged upon our faithfulness.

During the lifetime of Muhammad (PBUH), the Arabs practiced racism very much, under the name of tribalism that was very common. Islam however, came to eradicate this.

In Khutbatul Wada’ (also known as The Last Sermon of Muhammad), Muhammad (PBUH) said:

“O mankind, there is no superiority for an Arab man/woman over a non-Arab man/woman, or for a non-Arab man/woman over an Arab man/woman, or for white man/woman over a black man/woman, or for a black man/woman over a white man/woman. All of you are descended from Adam and Adam has been created from dust of the ground.”

When one looks at Muslim pilgrims in the Holy City of Makkah as an example, one can see the unity of people of all Faiths and backgrounds standing shoulder to shoulder, praying alongside each other despite the differences.

In Islam and in the presence of the Almighty, our looks and our gender do not matter, but what is inside us that counts.

Amazing Fact Of Zam Zam Water

ZamZam water level is around 10.6 feet below the surface.  It is the miracle of Allah that when ZamZam was pumped continuously for more than 24 hours with a pumping rate of 8,000 liters per second, water level dropped to almost 44 feet below the surface, BUT WHEN THE PUMPING WAS STOPPED, the level immediately elevated again to 13 feet after 11 minutes.
8,000 liters per second means that
8,000 x 60 = 480,000 liters per minute
480,000 liters per minutes means
that 480,000 x 60 = 28.8 Million liters per hour
And 28.8 Million liters per hour
means that 28,800,000 x 24 = 691.2 Million liters per day
So they pumped 690 Millions liters of ZamZam in 24 hours, but it was re-supplied in 11 minutes only.
There are 2 miracles here, the first that ZamZam was re-filled immediately, & the second is that Allah Holds the extra-ordinarily powerful Aquifer for not throwing extra ZamZam out of the well, otherwise the world will SINK. It is the translation of the word ZamZam, which means Stop !!!!!!!!!!!! Stop !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! said by Hajirah Alaih As Salaam. Zimam is an Arabic word, it is the rope / REIN attached to bridle or noseband & it is used / pulled to stop the running animal.

The Saudi Geological Survey has a “Zamzam Studies and Research Centre” which analyses the technical
properties of the well in detail. Water levels were monitored by hydrograph, which in more recent times has changed to a digital monitoring system that tracks the water level, electric conductivity, pH, Eh, and temperature.

All of this information is made continuously available via the Internet. Other wells throughout the valley have also been established, some with digital recorders, to monitor the response of the local aquifer system.
The water level is 3.23 m (10.6 ft) below the surface. A pumping test at 8,000 litres per second (280 cu ft/s) for more than a 24 hour period showed a drop in water level from 3.23 m (10.6 ft) below surface to 12.72 m (41.7 ft) and then to 13.39 m (43.9 ft), after which the water level stopped receding. When pumping stopped, the water level recovered to 3.9 m (13 ft) below surface only 11 minutes later. This data shows that the aquifer feeding the well seems to recharge from rock fractures in neighbouring mountains around Mecca. Zamzam water has no colour or smell, but it has a distinct taste, and its pH is 7.9–8.0, indicating that it is alkaline to some extent and is similar to seawater.

Mahathma Gandhi About Islam

Gandhi & the Islamic Connection
M.K.Gandhi’s views and movements are popular over the world. Seen as an inspiration, he earns a special place in the hearts of many as a charismatic leader who led by principles of simplicity and non-violence. But not many are aware of the role played by Islamic teachings in shaping up the man.

Gandhi drew inspirations from the glorious Quran, the blessed life of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and that of his companions. Of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) he said in an interview with ‘Young India’ (September 23, 1924) -  “I wanted to know the best of one who holds today undisputed sway over the hearts of millions of mankind… I became more than convinced that it was not the sword that won a place for Islam in those days in the scheme of life. It was the rigid simplicity, the utter self-effacement of the Prophet, the scrupulous regard for his pledges, his intense devotion to his friends and followers, his intrepidity, his fearlessness, his absolute trust in God and in his own mission. These and not the sword carried everything before them and surmounted every obstacle. When I closed the 2nd volume (of the Prophet’s biography), I was sorry there was not more for me to read of the great life.”

Writing in ‘Harijan’ (issue dated 27-07-1937), Gandhi advised his fellow Congressmen on leading a life of simplicity in this fashion:

“I cannot present before you the examples of Sri Ram Chandr and Sri Krishn as they are not personalities recognized by history. I cannot help but present to you names of Abu Bakar (ra) and Umar (ra). They were leaders of a vast empire, yet they lived a life of austerity.”

An even lesser famous quote is the observation of Gandhi about the caliphate of Hazrat Umar (r.a). Gandhi said “The best thing to happen to India would be to be reigned by a dictator as just and upright as Umar, (ra).”

Why did a non-violent exponent of Gandhi’s stature regard the rule of such a man as the ‘best thing’?

The answer lies in the life of the Prophet (pbuh) and that of his companions

Non Muslim View OF Quran

Quran is a book which guides human beings in several dimensions of life and nobody can deny its several special characteristics and everybody may use it according to his capacity, here we want to talk about different viewpoints of non-Muslim scholars about Quran which show that the divine trainings of this book will soon spread through the world. Of course it should be mentioned that every scholar has looked at Quran from his own point of view and has not been able to discover all characteristics and deepness of its trainings.

1)   Albert Einstein (1979-1955): Quran is not a book of algebra or geometry but is a collection of rules which guides human beings to the right way, the way which the greatest philosophers are unable to decline it.

2)   Will Dorant (born in 1885): Religious treatments in Quran contain worldly treatment too and all of its affairs are sent from Allah by revelation. Quran contains rules such as: good manners, healthiness, marriage, divorce, treatments with children and animals and slaves, commercials, politics, unlawful profit, debt, contracts, recommendations, industrial affairs, wealth, amercements and punishments and war and peace. Quran creates simple beliefs in simple souls, which are free from bad traditions and worship of idols. Quran has established principles of union discipline and social unity between Muslims.

3)   Napoleon Bonaparte (1769-1721): Quran takes the responsibility of man prosperity alone. I hope it will not be too late that time which I can unite all the scholars of all the countries together and establish a monotone society based on principles of Quran only which will guide people to prosperity.

4)   Gandhi (1869-1948): By learning Quran, every body will achieve revelation secrets and religion knowledge. In Quran we don't see anything which allows using obligation to change others religion. This sacred book says in the simplest way: 'there is no obligation in religion.'

5)   Dr. Johan Wolfgang Von Goethe (German Poet): In 1832 said, for long years, priests prevented us understanding Quran realities and greatness of its bringer, but by improvement of sciences this book will take human attention to it and become axis of thoughts.

6)   Lion Tolstue (Russian philosopher): Quran contains clear realties and tenets and human beings can utilize it generally.

7)   Bernard Shaw (English philosopher): He foretells that Europe will accept religion and book of Muhammad (PBUH).

8)   DR. Marks (1818-1883): Quran contains all divine messages, which exist in all sacred books for all nations. There are verses in Quran that relates to learning science and thinking and discussing and training and I confess that this firm book has corrected many of the man mistakes.

9)   Dr Shebly Shommyel (1853-1917) (Special student of Darwin): Prophet of Islam took attentions of human being wisdom towards him by Quran eloquence and made them unconscious against his book.

10)  Charles Francis (American professor): Bible is a book which no one knows in America but Quran is a book which every Muslim knows and it is not a lie. But it should be mentioned that being unaware of bible is a good luck for religion.

11)  P.H Corbin (France contemporary Islam knower): If Muhammad thought was superstitious and Quran was not revelation, he never dared to invite man to science. No thought and no person have invited human beings to science as Muhammad did. As we see that it has talked about science 950 times.

Mathematical Miracles In Qur'an

Apart from the miraculous characteristics of the Qur'an which we have looked into so far, it also contains what we can term "mathematical miracles." There are many examples of this fascinating Qur'anic aspect. One example of this is the number of repetitions of certain words in the Qur'an. Some related words are surprisingly repeated the same number of times. Below is a list of such words and the number of repetitions in the Qur'an.

The statement of "seven heavens" is repeated seven times. "The creation of the heavens (khalq as-samawat)" is also repeated seven times.

"Day (yawm)" is repeated 365 times in singular form, while its plural and dual forms "days (ayyam and yawmayn)" together are repeated 30 times. The number of repetitions of the word "month" (shahar) is 12.

The number of repetitions of the words "plant" and "tree" is the same: 26

The word "payment or reward" is repeated 117 times, while the expression "forgiveness" (mughfirah), which is one of the basic morals of the Qur'an, is repeated exactly twice that amount, 234 times.

When we count the word "Say," we find it appears 332 times. We arrive at the same figure when we count the phrase "they said."

The number of times the words, "world" (dunya) and "hereafter" (akhira) are repeated is also the same: 115

The word "satan" (shaitan) is used in the Qur'an 88 times, as is the word "angels" (malaika).

The word faith (iman) (without genitive) is repeated 25 times throughout the Qur'an as is also the word infidelity (kufr).

The words "paradise" and "hell" are each repeated 77 times.

The word "zakah" is repeated in the Qur'an 32 times and the number of repetitions of the word "blessing" (barakah) is also 32.

The expression "the righteous" (al-abraar) is used 6 times but "the wicked" (al-fujjaar) is used half as much, i.e., 3 times.

The number of times the words "Summer-hot" and "winter-cold" are repeated is the same: 5.

The words "wine" (khamr) and "intoxication" (saqara) are repeated in the Qur'an the same number of times: 6

The number of appearances of the words "mind" and "light" is the same: 49.

The words "tongue" and "sermon" are both repeated 25 times.

The words "benefit" and "corrupt" both appear 50 times.

"Reward" (ajr) and "action" (fail) are both repeated 107 times.

"Love" (al-mahabbah) and "obedience" (al-ta'ah) also appear the same number of times: 83

The words "refuge" (maseer) and "for ever" (abadan) appear the same number of times in the Qur'an: 28.

The words "disaster" (al-musibah) and "thanks" (al-shukr) appear the same number of times in the Qur'an: 75.

"Sun" (shams) and "light" (nur) both appear 33 times in the Qur'an.

In counting the word "light" only the simple forms of the word were included.
The number of appearances of "right guidance" (al-huda) and "mercy" (al-rahma) is the same: 79

The words "trouble" and "peace" are both repeated 13 times in the Qur'an.

The words "man" and "woman" are also employed equally: 23 times.

Will they not ponder the Qur’an? If it had been from other than Allah, they would have found many inconsistencies in it.
(Qur’an, 4:82)

The number of times the words "man" and "woman" are repeated in the Qur'an, 23, is at the same time that of the chromosomes from the egg and sperm in the formation of the human embryo. The total number of human chromosomes is 46; 23 each from the mother and father.

"Treachery" (khiyanah) is repeated 16 times, while the number of repetitions of the word "foul" (khabith) is 16.

"Human being" is used 65 times: the sum of the number of references to the stages of man's creation is the same: i.e.

Human being 65

Soil (turab) 17

Drop of Sperm (nutfah) 12

Embryo ('alaq) 6

A half formed lump of flesh (mudghah) 3

Bone ('idham) 15

Flesh (lahm) 12

TOTAL 65

The word "salawat" appear five times in the Qur'an, and Allah has commanded man to perform the prayer (salat) five times a day.

The word "land" appears 13 times in the Qur'an and the word "sea" 32 times, giving a total of 45 references. If we divide that number by that of the number of references to the land we arrive at the figure 28.888888888889%. The number of total references to land and sea, 45, divided by the number of references to the sea in the Qur'an, 32, is 71.111111111111%. Extraordinarily, these figures represent the exact proportions of land and sea on the Earth today.238

Women In Islam

Women in Islam

At a time when the rest of the world, from Greece and Rome to India and China, considered women as no better than children or even slaves, with no rights whatsoever, Islam acknowledged women's equality with men in a great many respects. The Quran states:

"And among His signs is this: that He created mates for you from yourselves that you may find rest and peace of mind in them, and He ordained between you love and mercy. Certainly, herein indeed are signs for people who reflect." [Noble Quran 30:21]

Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said:

"The most perfect in faith amongst believers is he who is best in manners and kindest to his wife." [Abu Dawud]

Muslims believe that Adam and Eve were created from the same soul. Both were equally guilty of their sin and fall from grace, and Allah forgave both. Many women in Islam have had high status; consider the fact that the first person to convert to Islam was Khadijah, the wife of Muhammad, whom he both loved and respected. His favorite wife after Khadijah's death, Ayshah, became renowned as a scholar and one of the greatest sources of Hadith literature. Many of the female Companions accomplished great deeds and achieved fame, and throughout Islamic history there have been famous and influential scholars and jurists.

We might also mention that while many in the West criticize Islam with regard to the treatment of women, in fact a number of Muslim countries have had women rulers and presidents. To name a few: Turkey; Bangladesh and Pakistan.

With regard to education, both women and men have the same rights and obligations. This is clear in Prophet Muhammad's saying:

"Seeking knowledge is mandatory for every believer." [Ibn Majah]

This implies men and women.

A woman is to be treated as God has endowed her, with rights, such as to be treated as an individual, with the right to own and dispose of her own property and earnings, enter into contracts, even after marriage. She has the right to be educated and to work outside the home if she so chooses. She has the right to inherit from her father, mother, and husband. A very interesting point to note is that in Islam, unlike any other religion, a woman can be an imam, a leader of communal prayer, for a group of women.

A Muslim woman also has obligations. All the laws and regulations pertaining to prayer, fasting, charity, pilgrimage, doing good deeds, etc., apply to women, albeit with minor differences having mainly to do with female physiology.

Before marriage, a woman has the right to choose her husband. Islamic law is very strict regarding the necessity of having the woman's consent for marriage. The groom gives a marriage dowry to the bride for her own personal use. She keeps her own family name, rather than taking her husband's. As a wife, a woman has the right to be supported by her husband even if she is already rich. She also has the right to seek divorce and custody of young children. She does not return the dowry, except in a few unusual situations.

Despite the fact that in many places and times Muslim communities have not always adhered to all or even many of the foregoing in practice, the ideal has been there for 1,400 years, while virtually all other major civilizations did not begin to address these issues or change their negative attitudes until the 19th and 20th centuries, and there are still many contemporary civilizations which have yet to do so.

Is Terrorism a Muslim Monopoly?

This question arises in the minds of the people, during any discussion on religion or world affairs. Muslim stereotypes are perpetuated in every form of the media accompanied by gross misinformation about Islam and Muslims. In fact, such misinformation and false propaganda often leads to discrimination and acts of violence against Muslims.

Oxford Dictionary describes the word terrorism as: 'the use of violent actions in order to achieve political aims or to force a government to act.' The word terrorism was first coined in 1790's during the French Revolution. The years 1793 and 1794 were called as 'The Reign of Terror' or 'Years of Terror.'

During these years Maximilin Robespierre guillotined thousands of innocents. He arrested more than 500,000 out of which he executed 40,000. More than 200,000 were deported and more than 200,000 were starved and tortured to death in the prisons.

Today there is a statement, which is being repeatedly bombarded, especially in the western media and that statement is, 'All Muslims are not Terrorist, but all Terrorist are Muslims.' But here are the historical records on terrorist attacks that speak a different picture:

19th century – We hardly find any terrorist attacks done by Muslims.

1881 – Tsar Alexander was assassinated in a Bomb Blast. He was traveling in a bulletproof carriage in St. Pietersburg Street. The first bomb kills innocent 21 bystanders. The second bomb killed him while he was stepping out of the car. He was killed by Ignacy Hryniewiecki. He was Anarchists.
1886 – Bomb Blast at Haymarket Square, Chicago, during a labour rally. 12 people were killed; one among them was a policeman. Seven policemen were injured and they died in the hospital. The people responsible were 8 Anarchists all of them were non-Muslims.
6 September 1901 – The US President, William McKinley, was shot twice by an Anarchist named Leon Czolgosz. He was a non-Muslim.
1 October 1910 – Bomb blast in Los Angeles at Times newspaper building. 21 were killed. The blast was done by 2 Christians named James and Joseph. They were union leaders.
28 June 1914 – Archduke of Austria and his wife were assassinated which precipitated the World War I. The members of Young Bosnia assassinated them - most of them were Serbs. They were non-Muslims.
16 April 1925 – Bomb Blast in St. Nedelya Church in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria. 10,050 were killed and 500 injured. This was the biggest terrorist attack that was done on the soil of Bulgaria. The Bulgarian Communist Party did it. They were non-Muslims.
9 October 1934 – King Alexander I of Yugoslavia was assassinated by a gunman by the name of Vlada Georgieff. He was a non-Muslim.
1 May 1961 – First US plane to be hijacked was not done by a Muslim. It was done by Ramierez Ortiz.
28 August 1968 – The US Ambassador to Guatemala was assassinated by a non-Muslim.
30 July 1969 – The US Ambassador to Japan was knifed by a Japanese non-Muslim.
3 September 1969 – US Ambassador to Brazil was kidnapped by a non-Muslim.
19 April 1995 - The famous attack of the Oklahoma Bombing in which a truck loaded with bombs ran into the federal building of Oklahoma, in which 166 were killed and 100 were injured. Initially in the press it came as 'Middle East Conspiracy'. Later on they came to know that it was done by two Christians named Timothy and Terry.
After World War II

After World War II from 1941 to 1948, the Jewish Terrorists conducted 259 terrorist attacks.
22 July 1946 – The famous bombing of King David Hotel was conducted under the leadership of Menachem Begin. 91 were killed, out of which 28 were British, 41 Arabs, 17 Jews and 5 others. The Ignun group dressed up as Arabs to show as though the Muslims did this bombing. Menachem Begin was called terrorist number one by the British government. Later on after a few years Menachem Begin the terrorist number one became the Prime Minister of Israel & got a Noble Prize for Peace. Imagine a person who was a terrorist number getting a Noble Prize for Peace. Menachem Begin and others were fighting to get a Jewish state. Before 1945 Israel did not exist in the World Map. These Jewish group were fighting for a Jewish state and later on with the power they kick the Palestinian out and now the same people are calling the same Palestinian who are fighting for a more just cause for getting their land back. And the Israelis label them today as Terrorist.
Hitler killed 6 million Jews. The Palestinians welcome the Jews. Later on the Jews kick the Palestinians out of their own land and when the Palestinians are fighting to get their land back they are labeled as Terrorists. It is like I welcome a stranger in my house. After a few days that person throws me out of my house and when I shout out side my house that I want my house back, you call me a Terrorist.
In Germany from 1968 – 1992, Baader Meinhoff Gang killed several innocent human beings.
In Italy, Red Brigades kidnapped and killed Aldo Moro, the former Prime Minister of Italy.
20 March 1995 - Aum Shinrikyo a Buddhist Cult used Nerve Gas in the Tokyo Subway in which 12 people were killed and 5700 were wounded and injured.
IRA (The Irish Republican Army)

In UK since hundred years IRA (The Irish Republican Army) is conducting Terrorist attacks against UK. They are Catholics. But are never called as Catholic Terrorist. In 1972 IRA conducted 3 bomb blasts. In the first blast 7 were killed, in second blast 11 were killed and in the third 9 were killed.
In 1974 IRA conducted two bomb blasts. First at Guildford Pub in which 5 were killed and 44 injured; second at the Birmingham Pub which killed 21 and injured 182.
In 1996 IRA conducted bomb blast in London in which 2 persons were killed and more than were 100 injured. In the same year IRA conducted bomb blast in Manchester shopping center in which 206 people were injured.
On 1 August, 1998, the 'Banbridge' bomb blast took place. The IRA planted 500 pound of bomb, which was loaded in a car where 35 people were injured.
On 15 August, 1998, 'Omagh' bomb blast took place. IRA planted 500 pound of bomb in a car where 29 people were killed and 330 injured.
On the 4 March, 2001, the BBC was bombed by IRA.
The IRA is never called as Catholic Terrorist. Today the UK government is more afraid of Muslim terrorist. Today Tony Blair is more afraid of the 'Muslim terrorists' than IRA who is conducting terrorist attacks for more than a hundred years. Why?
In Spain and France ETA conducted 36 terrorist attacks. In Africa there are many terrorist organisations. But the most notorious is the 'Lord's Salvation Army'; a Christian terrorist organisation in Uganda. They train young childrens to commit terrorist attacks.

In Sri Lanka, the LTTE (Liberation Tigers of Tamil Elam) is the most notorious. It is the most violent terrorist organisation in the world. They are experts in suicide bombings and they even train children to take part in suicide bombings.

Normally people know Palestinian suicide bombings, Iranian suicide bombing, but they don't know that LITTE are people who have popularized to suicide bombings. The LTTE i.e. Tamil tigers, they are Hindus.

In India majority of the terrorist attacks are talked about the Kashmiri militants. In India there are terrorist organization belonging to almost all different religions. We have Sikh terrorist, the 'Bhindranwala' in Punjab. If you go to South Asian Terrorism portal run by Non-Muslims, and if you see the list of terrorist attacks done by all the people, you will find the Muslims in a minority. But that is never highlighted in the media.

On 5 June, 1984, the Indian Security Forces took over the Golden Temple in which 100 people were killed. In retaliation on 31 October, 1984, Prime Minister Indira Gandhi was assassinated by her Sikh security guard. In Tripura there are Christian terrorist organizations called ATTF (All Tripura Tiger Force) and NLFT (National Liberation Front of Tripura). On the 2 October, 44 Hindus were killed by these Christian terrorists.

In Assam we have ULFA (United Liberation Front of Assam). ULFA in the 16 years from 1990 to 2006 has conducted successfully 749 confirmed terrorist attacks. The ULFA will put the Kashmiri militants to shame. But in the newspapers we only hear of Kashmiri militant. Why? The ULFA are trained to kill the Muslims, they are Hindus. How many times do we hear about them?

The maximum terrorist attacks, which have been done in India, are done by the Maoists. Only in Nepal, in the past 7 years they have conducted 99 terrorist attacks. According to the Indian Government out of 600 districts in India Maoists are present in 150 districts of India. They have done terrorist attacks in one-third part of India. The Maoists are the biggest dangers to India but yet the Indian Government is afraid of the Muslim terrorist. Why? The reason is George Bush. The Times of India, edition dated 9 September, 2006, reported that 875 rockets and 30 launchers were confiscated by the police. It is the biggest haul in the history of India that the government has confiscated.

From all these things we can surely say that Terrorism is not a Muslim Monopoly. Not a Muslim monopoly, it is not even a specialty of the Muslims. It is not even encouraged by Islam. The Holy Qur'an says in Sura Maidah, chp.5, verse.32, that "If anyone kills any human being, except as a punishment for murder or creating mischief in the land, it will as though he had killed the entire humanity". Most of the religions don't preach that you should kill innocent human being. Terrorism is not the monopoly of any religion.

The human being who has killed the maximum people is Adolf Hitler. Hitler incinerated 6 million Jews. He was Christian. Joseph Stalin (Uncle Joe) killed 20 million human beings; including 14.5 million were starved to death. Mao Tse Tsung of China killed 14 to 20 million human beings. He was Non Muslim. Benito Mussolini of Italy killed 400,000 human beings. Maximilin Robespierre during the French revolution starved and tortured 200,000 people to death and executed 40,000 people. Ashoka in one battle of Kalinga alone killed more than 100,000 people. He was a Hindu. Saddam Hussein killed a few 100 thousands people. But the embargo put by George Bush and the USA alone killed more than half a million Iraqi children. In Indonesia, Muhammad Suharto killed 500,000 people.

This is nothing compared to Hitler or uncle Joe nothing compare to Mao TSE sung each individual will put the Muslims to shame. I am not trying to say that these individual they were religious. If they would have religious then they would not have committed such acts. But yet we find in the international media that the Muslims are called as fundamentalist, extremists and terrorists. The American Revolution took place in the 19th century. According to the British Government the terrorist No. 1 that time was Benjamin Franklin and George Washington.

Views of world's famous personalities

Solution to terrorism

Politicians should be honest and just and should not do wrong things for the vote bank.
Innocent Indian citizens should not be instigated by the politicians and kill other human beings. Police should be upright and just and protect the innocent. They should not be ploy of the politicians. I know that there are times that they can be transferred. But if every policeman in India is honest, the new policemen who are transferred will also be honest. So what will the politicians do?
People should not take the law in their hand and kill other human being.
Mahatma Gandhi said, " If India has to improve it should be ruled by a dictator as honest and upright as Hadrat Umar (The Caliph of Islam)
